Utuenikañ Ndito Akwa Ibom Community Development Foundation Visits Abuja Children’s Home
On Saturday, March 30, 2024, members of the Utuenikañ Ndito Akwa Ibom Community Development Foundation, Abuja Chapter, embarked on a heartfelt visit to the Abuja Children’s Home in Old Karu, Abuja. The visit aimed to extend support and spread joy to the children residing in the facility.
The Utuenikañ Ndito Akwa Ibom Community Development Foundation, known for its commitment to community welfare and development initiatives, organised this visit as part of its ongoing efforts to uplift underprivileged communities and provide assistance to vulnerable individuals.
Upon arrival at the Abuja Children’s Home, the members of the foundation were warmly received by the staff and children residing in the facility. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as the volunteers prepared to engage with the children and brighten their day.
During the visit, the members of the foundation spent quality time interacting with the children, engaging in various activities such as storytelling, games, and arts and crafts. The volunteers also distributed essential supplies, including food items, clothing, and educational materials, to support the needs of the children and contribute to their well-being.
Speaking about the visit, Utuenikañ (Mrs) Iniboioke Ufford-Kanu, the Abuja Chapter Coordinator of the Utuenikañ Ndito Akwa Ibom Community Development Foundation, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of the children at the Abuja Children’s Home. She emphasised the importance of community involvement and collective efforts in addressing the needs of vulnerable individuals, particularly children who are in need of love, care, and support. The FCT Chapter Coordinator of the foundation was accompanied by the International Adviser, Utuenikañ Gerald Ufford, during the visit.
