In a heartwarming display of compassion, the Utuenikañ Ndito Akwa Ibom Community Development Foundation, a non-profit organisation, recently concluded a charitable programme aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable individuals in Akwa Ibom State.

The event, which took place on July 5, 2024, at 2 pm, commenced with the street feeding within Uyo metropolis, providing beneficiaries with essential nourishment and support. The foundation’s efforts were led by Utuenikañ Ekemini Umoren Uche, Coordinator of the Akwa Ibom state Chapter, on behalf of the International President of the foundation, Utuenikañ Uko Ime Ufford, JP.

In addition to supporting the vulnerable in the street, the foundation also empowered a widow, Affiong Emmanuel Akpadiaha, from ONNA Local Government Area, who had recently been robbed of her business money. The Eket branch of the foundation provided financial reimbursement to the widow, offering her a new lease on life.

The beneficiary of the charity programme expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the foundation and its members, praying for God’s blessings upon them. The event was attended by executive members of the chapter, the Eket Branch supervisor, and his team members, all dressed in orange T-shirts, black jeans trousers/skirts, black canvas, and face caps.
