Utuenikañ Ndito Akwa Ibom Community Development Foundation Empowers Underprivileged Boy in Lagos

Non-Profit Organisation Reunites Ubong Elijah with Education, Bringing Hope to Vulnerable Children

Lagos, Nigeria – In a heartwarming display of humanitarian service, the Lagos State Chapter of Utuenikañ Ndito Akwa Ibom Community Development Foundation (UNAICDF), a global non-profit organisation, has successfully reinstated Ubong Elijah, a disadvantaged boy, into Itire Primary School.

On September 27, during the 2024 Empowerment Campaign, the Lagos Chapter, led by Coordinator Utuenikañ Ofofon Akpe, discovered Ubong Elijah by a canal side. Moved by his plight, the team sprang into action.

Utuenikañ Pastor Aniettie Cosmos Ukoong, VP2, representing International President Utuenikañ Uko Ime Ufford (JP), oversaw the initiative. Welfare Officer Utuenikañ Mercy Tom played a pivotal role in ensuring the project’s success.

The team facilitated Ubong’s re-admission to Itire Primary School on October 16, 2024, where he was enrolled in Primary 4. The Head Mistress praised the NGO’s efforts, pledging full support.

Overwhelmed with joy, Ubong Elijah’s family thanked UNAICDF, praying for divine blessings upon the organisation.

This endeavour exemplifies the Foundation’s dedication to empowering vulnerable individuals and promoting education. With chapters worldwide, the foundation continues to make a positive impact.
